COVID-19 Coronavirus status (updated March 31st)
The Jazz Festival has been rescheduled to next Spring, and will include the complete programme that was planned for this year, including every single gig by all our amazing star performers, the Surrey Young Jazz Musicians concert, films, talks, lunches, brunches, cream teas – all of it!
The new dates are 7th to 9th May 2021. All existing event bookings, including weekend passes and meals, will be automatically transferred to the new dates. Your current seats will be guaranteed, and although prices for future tickets sold will go up, we will of course honour the current ticket prices for everyone who’s already booked and who rolls over their bookings to the new dates. Several of the events had sold out so rolling over your bookings also means you’ll be sure of a seat at those events in particular. So if you already have tickets for any events over the Jazz Festival weekend please just hang on to them and we’ll look forward to an amazing weekend together next year. If for any reason the new dates are not convenient for you please contact the Electric Theatre Box Office by the end of April, by email to: email@example.com or calling 01483 501200 .
The next scheduled dates for the Jazz Cafe and the Pavilion are below – all artists we’ve had to cancel so far will be rescheduled to a little later in the year. Thank you for all your support and for the wonderful messages that you’ve been sending us. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
“Guildford Jazz is a beacon of light in supporting and promoting live jazz locally: a thriving community arts organisation hosting performances from some of the top jazz musicians in the country while at the same time building strong community links with local musicians, schools and charities. It’s growing audiences are testament to their success and I am delighted to support them as patron.”
Bill Bruford, Patron of Guildford Jazz, January 2019.
