JAZZ AT GUILDFORD CRICKET CLUB PAVILION
Our “Summer of Jazz ’21” opener, with one of the UK’s finest trumpeters, Enrico Tomasso. A lifelong friend of Louis Armstrong, Enrico has worked with Bryan Ferry, the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, Claire Teal, Ray Gelato and many more. An exciting stage presence and a lively personality, combined with Enrico’s fine command of his instrument and stylistic invention, place him among the finest jazz stars of today.
With a very warm welcome back to Guildford to the most swinging of pianists, John Pearce, and and the legendary Bobby Worth on drums!
“Tomasso is the swing trumpeter par excellence” – Jazzwise
