Jazz Education

Belair Instrumental and Vocal courses

July/August, France. Run by Tristan Mailliot, with other tutors including Gareth Lockrane, Alan Barnes, Brigitte Beraha, Barry Green, Jeremy Brown, Oly Hayhurst, these highly popular courses are held in a Chateau in the Loire – early booking highly recommended. More details www.loiremusic.com.

June 28th Still Crazy gig in aid of the Cheryl King (Hirst) Trust

Still Crazy is a 9 piece band whose founder members knew Cheryl well and many of whom had been encouraged by her to perform. The band has a 3-women vocal line up and plays everything from classic soul and blues to modern hits , with an emphasis on dancing and partying.

The band are putting on a gig in aid of the Cheryl King (Hirst) Trust  on Friday June 28 in the Long Room of Guildford Cricket Club’s brand new Pavilion off Woodbridge Road. Tickets are £15 each and can be ordered from Caroline Coleman by e-mailing her: towerview@btinternet.com. There may be some available at the door but the limit is 200 and advance sales are usually brisk. Doors open 7.30 for 8pm start. There is a fully licensed bar.
