JAZZ SINGING WORKSHOP WITH PETE CHURCHILL

Afternoon Workshop followed by Cream Tea and Concert
Come and Sing Jazz! You are warmly invited to an afternoon workshop led by the inspirational musical director and internationally recognised choir leader, Pete Churchill.
Pete Churchill is a professor at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. He teaches and leads choirs on courses around the world. He is also an active jazz singer-pianist, and accompanist to jazz artists including Mark Murphy and Sheila Jordan.
Songs will be taught by ear, so no sight-singing skills are required. This workshop is open to all, from the novice to the experienced choir singer.
The workshop will be held in historic St Mary’s Church in nearby Quarry Street. Directions and registration details will be sent on confirmation of your booking. The combined fee for the workshop and to take part in the concert is £15/£13 Guildford Jazz Members/£7.50 students.
